I Can Hear It Now...
Hear what? CD players and children's cd's. That's what.
Due to YOUR generosity, we were able to donate 4 boomboxes to the PICU and 4 crib-side cd players to the NICU at Yale Children's. But that's not it - we also donated a bunch of children's cd's to accompany the those players and, well, it was pretty cool. I mean, when you think about it, this is only the beginning right? But even the beginning means that sick and disabled children will begin to feel the power of music therapy. It's a weird thing - music heals in ways that simply cannot be described in words and we hope this is merely the first step of a long journey in our efforts to bring music to the ICU.
